Seemilar collects the following information to provide and manage the Service:
- Required Account Information: Name (required), email address (account key), password hash, login credentials (email or Google social login).
- Optional Profile Information: Profile image, country, gender, age range.
- Content Information: URLs, titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and other metadata of content saved by users (Seemilar may automatically extract such data via APIs when saving web links).
- Usage and Device Information: IP address, browser type, device type, OS version, language, scroll position, mobile advertising identifier, and other usage-related data.
- Communication Information: Contact details and correspondence provided when contacting customer support.
- Payment Information: For paid subscriptions, payment details are collected and processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., Paddle, Stripe, KG Inicis).

2. Purposes of Use

Collected information is used for:
- Providing the Service and Fulfilling Contracts: Account management, Service features (link saving, syncing, notifications, etc.), responding to customer inquiries, and supplying requested services.

Seemilar uses four categories—Necessary, Preference, Analytics, and Personalized Advertising cookies.
- Necessary cookies are essential and cannot be disabled.
- Personalized Advertising cookies are placed with user consent, and you may disable them at any time to opt out of the sale of personal information (as required under California law).

2. Similar Technologies

Seemilar may use pixel tags or web beacons in emails to collect usage data and measure promotion effectiveness.

3. Do Not Track

There is currently no standard for responding to browser “Do Not Track” signals; Seemilar does not respond to such signals.

- No PII Sale Without Consent: Seemilar does not share or sell personally identifiable information without your explicit consent.

- Security Measures: Seemilar employs physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards (firewalls, password protection, restricted access) to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, or alteration.
- Retention: Seemilar retains information only as long as necessary to provide services, manage the business, or comply with legal or contractual obligations.
- Account Deletion: Upon request, all personal data will be deleted immediately, but due to backup/log systems, deleted data may persist for up to 90 days. Longer retention may occur if needed for dispute resolution, contract performance, or legal requirements.
- Security Breach Notification: - In case of a personal data breach, Seemilar will notify users as soon as legally required.
- Anti-Phishing: Seemilar will never request your username, password, or credit card information via unsolicited email or phone calls.

6. Limitation of Liability and Dispute Resolution

1. Consent to International Transfers

Seemilar is a global organization. By providing information, you consent to its transfer and storage on computers in other countries with different data protection standards.

2. European User Protection

For transfers from the EEA or Switzerland, Seemilar complies with appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Access, correction, and deletion of personal data.
- Data portability (EEA users).
- Requests that are excessive or repetitive may be denied due to legal obligations or ongoing disputes.

Seemilar does not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 for some services, such as Raindrop.io) and does not target the Service to children.
